Responsibilities:
Interpret customer requirements related to evaluation and demonstration of emerging technologies
Improve the fidelity of simulated customer platforms
Work in an agile, collaborative, and open environment with a focus on interoperable systems
Develop connections with industry and government teams
Guide industry partners in modification of their technologies to integrate with customer systems
Create demonstration and transition plans for industry partner capabilities
Must-haves:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
progressive experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams
Demonstrated understanding and experience with the practical application of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Experience with integration and deployment of distributed software systems
Preferred:
Ability to guide technical designs through development and demonstration
Experience with DoD-focused open architecture specifications like VITA 49, MORA, or OMS
Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques as applicable to signals intelligence
Creativity in finding applications of technology for a diverse set of missions
Experience with model based engineering and associated tools
