As an Operational Excellence Principal, you will play a critical role in shaping and enhancing performance across Aeronautics Operations. You will lead the integration of the Aeronautics Operating Model (AOM), focusing on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency. This position will empower you to make a lasting impact through strategic initiatives that drive measurable business results
What You Will Be Doing
Leading and managing the implementation of the Aeronautics Operating Model (AOM) within Aero Operations.
Coaching, mentoring, and training Black Belts, Green Belts, and other employees in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to reduce waste and drive improvement.
Executing strategic initiatives and projects through a structured strategy deployment process, achieving meaningful, data-driven results.
Driving performance improvement through analysis, process optimization, and effective resource management.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with Lean Six Sigma and delivering measurable business results, especially within aerospace or a related industry.
-Expert-level knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools, including statistical analysis, design of experiments, and process mapping (Black Belt Certification preferred).
-Experience developing operational systems and leading enterprise-wide strategy deployment.
-Experience leading, coaching, &/or mentoring employees in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, specifically Black Belts and Green Belts.
Desired Skills:
-Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
-Master Black Belt certification from a recognized organization.
-Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment and driving large-scale transformation initiatives.
-Strategic thinker with expertise in supply chain management, quality control, or operations management.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
