PCSI is looking for an Maintenance Trades Helper at its Camp Bullis Site! We are searching for a motivated, friendly team member to perform repair duties. The right person will have a proactive attitude and takes pride in their accomplishments. This position will report to the Project Manager and is based at Camp Bullis in San Antonio. Typical work hours will be Monday- Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm.

Base pay of $17.20/hr .

What You'll Do as a Maintenance Trades Helper:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Assist one or more workers in the skilled maintenance trades by performing specific or general duties.
Provide workers with materials, supplies and tools necessary to perform job assigned.
Clean machines, equipment or work areas as assigned.
Assist the journeyman by holding materials or tools and performing other tasks as directed by the journeyman.
May also perform specialized machine operations.
Assist with any maintenance and grounds maintenance as needed.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience working in general maintenance is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to climb, bend, squat, lift and carry objects ranging from 10-60 pounds. Occasionally push objects up to 100 pounds; prolong walking up to 90%.
Ability to use maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
Ability to use equipment as outlined in procedures to ensure proper usage and safety.
Ability to follow policies and procedures in place to perform duties assigned.
Ability to work as a team member and independently to complete daily tasks.
Ability to assist and communicate with others as needed and establish effective working relationships.
Working Condition
Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
