SAIC is seeking a Division IT Business and Project Liaison to support the US Army Corps of Engineers RITS Program at our Southwestern Division (SWD) in Dallas, TX.
This role will be physically located at a USACE Division Office with travel (~25%) to District sites on a recurring basis for face-to-face customer engagement. As a Division IT Business and Project Liaison, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Duties:
Responsible for ensuring the quality of services provided in the Division including applicable SLAs.
Primary point of contact between program Division leads and the Division IT Chiefs, Division Operations Officers, District IT Chiefs, and District Operations Officers within a given Division.
Communicates horizontally and vertically to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements, issues, areas for improvement, and progress.
Monitors project(s) execution and budget execution to identify and report potential shortfalls and or overages in close coordination with assigned RITS IT project managers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to address inquiries, needs, and pain points.
Advocate and demonstrate the value of SAIC's services, proactively seeking opportunities to increase customer engagement and satisfaction.
Monitor customer data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional RITS division teams to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
Collaborate with RITS Demand/Solutioning and project teams to gather requirements for customer efforts and understand key objectives.
In coordination with the Transformation Manager, host Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) between technical teams and customers to verify the technical viability of solutions.
Coordinate discussions around incoming requests from the internal program Demand/Solutioning team.
Draft and deliver customer engagement presentations that clearly articulate customer needs, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree with ten (10) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a technology IT-related domain.
Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and technical teams.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer priorities, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities to address and resolve customer issues effectively.
Experience managing budget and schedule for a variety of IT project sizes ($1M+).
Ability to learn IT technologies and concepts at a high-level.
Required Security Clearance:
Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start with ability to gain and maintain a Secret Clearance (at a minimum).
Preferred Experiences:
Prior USACE/ACE-IT experience.
Experience working in a DoD environment.
Knowledge of federal government, military experience, contracting processes, and regulations is advantageous.
Certification preferred in Project Management and/or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 4 Foundation.
