Summary/Objective
The Commercial Account Executive - Hunter provides effective sales results by establishing a working relationship with internal and external customers through communication via telephone, email, mail and in person. Must thrive in a competitive environment.
Essential Functions

Operates as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to New Commercial Customers within a defined territory.
Negotiates contracts and closes agreements to maximize profit
Develops a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
Ensures the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Communicates clearly the progress of monthly, quarterly an annual initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Develops new business with existing clients and/or identifies areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas
Forecasts and tracks key account metrics (e.g. monthly, quarterly and annual sales results and monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts)
Prepares reports on account statuses
Identifies and grows opportunities within territory and collaborates with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
Assists with high priority requests/issues to determine escalation procedures as needed

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, headsets, photocopiers, filing cabinets, calculators and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally life office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Travel
This position is required to travel to and from customer locations within a 150 mile radius.
Required Education and Experience
Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or equivalency.
Preferred Education and Experience
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager or other relevant experience
Demonstrate ability to communicate credibly and effectively
Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to details
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must meet the Department of Homeland Security employment eligibility verification requirements.
