BAE Systems is looking for a Support Equipment System Engineer who is knowledgeable with aircraft avionic systems. The Support Equipment System Engineer will be responsible for the following:
Developing requirements (containing mating aircraft interface connector information, and signal info (voltage, Current, video, audio, serial communication, etc.) for Support Equipment used on aircraft.
Using customer supplied aircraft equipment schematics, interface drawings, software requirement specification, interface control documents, test requirement document, and mechanical drawings.
Developing Support Equipment System Test Description Document (STD), Witness Support Equipment Demonstration and sell off to customer and document results in a System Test Report.
Developing power point charts and support customer monthly meetings to go over progress of system activities.
Expectation of travel to two to three locations foreign and domestic.

Because of the need for intermittent in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform a portion of work onsite, this position will be considered hybrid. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 50% or more of the time, as well as remotely, when applicable.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
Ability to obtain and hold a Secret level security clearance.
Familiarity with Systems engineering and integration/testing.
Familiarity with aircraft avionic systems
Familiarity with F-16 Alternate Mission Equipment
Ability to use standard lab equipment to hook up and troubleshoot hardware using a supplied schematic.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Hold an active Secret level security clearance.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point
Ability to understand National Instruments TestStand Test Program Sets.
Some level of experience with software coding
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115100 - $195700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
