Job Description:
We are seeking a Program Manager with a background in defense aerospace and expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM). This role is critical for overseeing complex aerospace programs, ensuring they meet performance, schedule, and budgetary objectives while aligning with strategic business goals.
The qualified candidate must be able to:
Program Leadership: Lead and manage multiple internal research and development (IRAD) programs from inception through delivery, ensuring adherence to technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
EVM Implementation: Apply Earned Value Management principles to monitor and control program performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the program lifecycle.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program execution, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Budget Oversight: Develop, manage, and report on program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and forecasting accuracy.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present program status reports, EVM metrics, and key performance indicators to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Demonstrate and insist on ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of program.
Drives all phases of the IRAD projects to successful completion.
Drives program planning to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
Manages preparation of program/project planning documentation for communication to the leadership team
Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management, and customer.
Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas to identify areas of improvement for systems and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
2+ years experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Degree focus in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration
Microsoft Office Tools proficiency
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
