Job Description:
Responsible for leading an HDL team consisting of hourly employees to complete aircraft modification projects.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for monitoring budgets
Organizing daily tasks to meet milestones
Understanding IMS schedule
Driving the overall performance on aircraft modification projects.
Establishing and tracking day-to-day production requirements that includes budget, safety, quality, and performance.
Team will consist of between 10-20 hourly mechanics.
Willingness and ability to work overtime and work offshifts
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior hands-on aircraft electrical experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior hands-on aircraft electrical experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which requires US citizenship.
Minimum 4 years experience with structural modification, electrical modification, and aircraft inspection requirements.
Minimum of 2 years supervisorial experience with general aviation, military aircraft, or manufacturing.
Ability to interpret Government, FAA, and Company Aviation Safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and general aviation knowledge.
Ability to perform analytical analysis and apply risk mitigation techniques.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Current A&P License (Airframe and Powerplant)
Proficient working knowledge of military, commercial, or general aviation aircraft.
Gulfstream platform experience
VIP or comms upgrade experience
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Lean or Six-Sigma Training
Experience in conflict resolution, team building, and coaching skills.
