Collins Aerospace is currently in search of a GEOINT Sensor Support Manager. The GEOINT Sensor Support Manager performs live airborne management of the airborne sensor and associated ground systems at a site. Provides technical and engineering support to the PCPAD process. Involves comprehensive analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for the sensor, ground components and end-to-end network. Assist with mission planning (NAV, Collection), system/mission readiness, and mission setup based on associated sensor/sensor kit and any sensor limiting factors currently required. Provide direct mission/sensor support by constantly monitoring associated sensors, executing corrective actions within the sensor, sensor biasing, data screening/QC, raw sensor data dissemination to external systems, re-tasking/adhoc sensor support, and communicating with flight line sensor maintainers thru mission debrief processes to allow quick systems restoral. This position is located at Birmingham, and is eligible for relocation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages multiple airborne GEOINT sensor missions and processes simultaneously at DGS-2 site.
Operates and interfaces with multiple aircraft, airborne sensors, sites, networks, systems, and operations and maintenance personnel.
Provides updates to GSMS position processes.
Provides sensor troubleshooting and airborne fault resolution; identifies, resolves, and communicates issues with GSYS, DSMC, GMATS, OAMC, infrastructure, enterprise services, other GEOINT systems; support and recommend updates to GEOINT systems, SW, and networks.
Provides technical and engineering support for sensors and networks.
Creates, updates, and responds to Incident tickets.
Manages data encryption changes and implementation.
Monitors the GEOINT system and networks health/status (Sensor, platform, network paths to include crypto, DCGS GEOINT systems, and GEOINT related enterprise services)
Provides comprehensive analysis, diagnostics and fault isolation for the GEOINT systems and networks associated with ground components.
Provides comprehensive analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for the GEOINT systems associated with End-to-End network paths/DGFS systems.
SME that provides GEOINT and networks sustainment support during system upgrades
Monitors the networks connections between the GEOINT sensors and ground equipment.
Coordinates efforts for sensor/system and network restoral
Provides GEOINT process and network improvements/recommendations.
Create Serena Mission Debriefs; provide systems status (includes sensor) to operations and maintenance personnel prior to takeoff; update operations and maintenance personnel with status if required during mission; obtains inputs from operations and maintenance personnel after mission concerning sensor and systems performance; completes GEOINT portion of end-to-end mission debrief and closes debrief if appropriate.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification.
Experience with military GEOINT domains across various platforms plus their corresponding ground station processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED).
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI Security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
This position does support rotating shifts.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
