Overview: S4 Inc. employees selected for this position will be supporting USSTRATCOM JCER missions in order to provide the JCER Director with Planning, Analysis, Spectrum Management, and Intelligence support. In addition, S4 employees will support Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for JCER to accomplish Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) readiness evaluations.
Required Experience:
Experience at the tactical and operational level with EMS; communications equipment, and non-kinetic effects planning, execution, and evaluation processes;
Developing detailed mission analysis and integration of resources to determine capabilities to meet mission requirements;
Understanding of current SOF capabilities across all activities (direct action, special reconnaissance, countering weapons of mass destruction, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, security force assistance, hostage rescue and recovery, counterinsurgency, foreign humanitarian assistance, military information support operations, and civil affairs operations) with knowledge of vulnerabilities in the presence of threat EMSO in order to make recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on findings of JCER evaluations; and
At least eight (8) years of demonstrated relevant experience in Special Operations expertise in air, land, and sea/naval special operations and combat systems.
Duties Include:
Conducting tactical, operational, and strategic level research concerning the impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats to joint operations;
Conducting studies, performing research, reporting, and making recommendations concerning instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary to execute risk reduction and evaluation events ensuring the coordination of communications, logistics, materiel, data collection and personnel training, issue and alternative definitions, and personnel requirements for each designated activity;
