Amentum is seeking an Antenna/Radio Frequency Engineer , to join our team at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV to support our customer, Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER)
This position is contingent upon award.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing and employing antenna system collection plans for JCER evaluations of EMSO events.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, with five (5)+ years of relevant experience
Must have a US Government Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. Please note, US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
Experience with design, development, and deployment of signal processing applications such as the X-Midas framework
Specialize in cutting-edge signal processing technologies, system and software design, life-cycle support, signal analysis, communications and software development
Strong academic background in engineering/science with hands-on programming skills, digital signal processing experience
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining large Digital Signal Processing software systems
Ability to communicate requirements, technical abilities and analytical/measured results across the engineering disciplines and with internal stakeholders
Working knowledge or experience with C/C++, scientific programming, Python, MATLAB, shell scripting, Linux, or CUDA/Open CL
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Digital Signal Processing, X-Midas, Linux, Machine Learning (ML) preferred
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $200,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
