RESPONSIBILITIES :
The selected candi date will be responsible for perform ing a variety of technical tasks , including but not limited to the de ployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of network elements such as, Switches, Servers, Workstations, Net Guardians, Storage Devices/Recorders, CCTV IP/Analog cameras, etc . T he candidate will also assist w ith the deployment and troubleshooting of comp uter equipment, mobile devices, and desk phones. The incumbent will be responsible for setting up new Users with access to LAN, Email, Printer, Internet, Home Folder, Shared Fo lde rs, and different standard/propr ietary software applications, as well as visit remote facilities, and provide technical support to end-users ; perform Security System A dministration , system upgrade, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks. In addition, th e c andidate will assist with fla t-file database system development and perform we ekly update /maintenance and assist with developing and maintaining documentations (forms, training manual, etc.). Perform diagnostics, including visual inspection of the head -en d equipment cabinets and docu ment hardware maintenance requirement in the "Dai ly System Maintenance Log". Candidate will also assist with IT equipment life cycle management , and review project documentations, coordinate with the contractor s , and partici pat e in various testing process such as UAT, FAT, SAT, SIT, etc. The selected candidate will aid subject matter experts in th e implementation of H xGN EAM software and the roll-out of EAM related projects. Work will include identifying asset data requiremen ts, collecting, organizing, and cleaning the data, as well as converting paper-based work processes into digital/o nline processes.
This class of p osition s consist s of th ree A ssignment Levels , differing according to the complexity and sophistication of the ha r dware and software systems and the number of years of relevant ex perience required. All Compu ter Ass ociates perform related wo rk and m ay be req uired to lift of up to 50 lbs. of equipment ; work weekends , night shifts , and holidays .
The following are t ypi c al assignments within this class of positions :
Level I: Under ge neral direction, with very great latitude for independent initiative and judgm ent, the incumbent will be responsible for performing relevant techn ical tasks , as mentioned above. This woul d b e an entry level position r equir ing candidates having minimum f our years of hands-on technical sup port experience .
Level II: Under general dir ection, with very great latitude for independent initiative and judgment, the incumbent will be responsible f or p erforming relevant techn ical tasks , as mentioned above. This woul d be a mid - level position r equir ing candidates having six to eight years of ha nds-on technica l sup port experience ; at least two years being in SIRTOA technical environment.
Level III: Un der general direction, with very great latitude for independent initi ative and judgment, the incumbent will be responsible for performing relevant techn ical tasks , as mentioned above. This would be a senior level position r equir ing candidates having eight to t en years of hands-on technica l sup port experience ; at least two y ears being in SIRTOA technical environment. The incumb ent may as sume delegated responsibilities from the mana ger.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited coll ege or university and two years of sa tisfactory, full time experienc e in mainframe computer, mid-range co mputer, LAN or WAN computer environmen ts, and/or local desktop support; or
An associate degree or 60 sem ester credits from an accredited college or un ive r sity and three years of satisfact ory, full-time experience as des cribed in "1" above: or
A four-year h igh school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of satisfactory, full-time experience as described in "1" above; or
Education and/or e xpe r ience equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above . Undergraduate college credit can be substituted for experi ence bas ed on 30 semester credits, fro m an accredited colleg e or university , for six months of experienc e. Howe ver, all candidates must have at lea st a f o ur-year h igh school diploma.

Experienced worki ng with Fiber Optic Data Communicati on Network including Cisco L2/L3 Switch es, Windows and Lin ux Servers/Workstations, Network Audio/Video Recorders, CCTV Security Cameras, Intercoms, and Do o r Access Control System

Experienced with providin g hands-on technical support to the end -users rela ted to P C/Wyse Box, Multi-function Printers, Microsoft 365 Apps/Services, Shared Folders, Mobile Devi ces , and various standard/proprie tar y application software
