WHAT WE'RE DOING
Seeking a Program Manager to lead development efforts within the Subsurface Electronic Warfare programs which include AN/BLQ-10 submarine electronic warfare inboard systems and outboard submarine electronic warfare systems. The selected candidate will lead the development, integration, test, validation, transition to production, and sustainment & support of submarine electronic warfare systems.
THE WORK
As a Subsurface Electronic Warfare Program Manager, the selected candidate will report to the Subsurface Electronic Warfare Development Senior Program Manager with direct responsibility to manage the development of an AN/BLQ-10 Technical Insertion (TI), Advanced Processing Build (APB), or Outboard Submarine Electronic Warfare Sensor.
The selected candidate will have overall responsibility for the development, integration, test, validation, transition to production, and sustainment & support of the TI, APB, Outboard Sensor capability, including cost, schedule, technical execution, risk management, resource planning, and coordination across various functions to ensure on-time completion of contract deliverables. In addition, this role will support the capability insertion within the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS).
The TI/APB/Outboard Sensor PM is the primary interface with PMS435 customer for that effort. The PM will also be the focal point for communications between the program team, functional organizations, and program leadership as well as have frequent interactions with the broader customer base, industry partners, and government laboratories.
The selected candidate should have experience developing, maintaining, and communicating performance based Earned Value and Agile metrics. The PM will develop operating budgets, ensuring that the program team complies with the terms of the contract as well as LM processes and policies to develop solutions to highly complex problems.
The PM must be able to identify challenges and develop mitigation plans to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and alignment with business objectives. The PM will establish milestones and monitor adherence to an integrated master plan, as well as coordinate program personnel toward problem resolution.
The position requires leading teams and coordinating with multiple government agencies to achieve program goals and objectives. The selected candidate must also have strong communication skills, with the ability to work across various levels of customer and Lockheed Martin leadership.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college
Demonstrated proficiency in program management principles or project lead experience on development programs
Experience with development, implementation, and management of cost and schedule baselines
Active US Secret clearance or ability to obtain US Secret clearance
Ability to work in Syracuse, NY Facility multiple days per week

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $236,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $142,100 - $267,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
