COLSA is seeking to hire a Senior Windows Server System Analyst to support our Enterprise IT Support Services work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville Alabama. You will work with our team of IT professionals and Army civilians as a member of Server Operations Team. Primary duties will include the development, testing, and integration of Windows Active Directory administrative Powershell scripts to automate manual and redundant tasks. Secondary duties involve Windows Domain administration to include enhancements and sustainment to authentication topology to include security groups and GPOs, sustainment of DDNS, DHCP, certification administration, and configuration updates to meet DISA STIG requirements in addition to providing Tier 3 service desk support.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
Develop Windows domain PowerShell scripts to aid and enhance the administration of the AvMC unclassified network.
Configure and update configurations to Active Directory and other supporting application servers in accordance with DIAS STIG requirements. Run automated STIG configuration checks, generate STIG checklists, and manually mitigate STIG findings.
Develop plans and schedules to mitigate cybersecurity findings and routinely follow up on the progress of mitigation.
Troubleshoot Active Directory Forest trust issues and troubleshoot general IT issues.
Create, delete, modify and troubleshoot Group Policies.
Fulfill work requests and resolve issues presented to the team through our Service Desk Management tool for work prioritization and tracking.
Troubleshoot and sustain DDNS and DHCP services.
Assist with supporting enterprise print and software license services.
Promote and demote Domain Controllers.
Responsible for preparing system design specifications to meet customer requirements.
Responsible for implementing system design specifications.
Defines controls, conversion procedures and system implementation plans.
Work closely with the Virtualization Infrastructure, Network Operations, SQL & IIS, Data Storage & Archival, Software Development, and Cybersecurity teams.
Develop weekly and monthly operational and engineering support status documents for management situational awareness.
Coordinate changes with other support teams and leverage existing change management processes.
May provide work leadership to other teammates.

Required SkillsRequired Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
10-12 years of prior experience in a similar role.
Active Security+CE certification.
Experience developing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts used to administer Windows systems.
Experience with being a Windows Enterprise Domain Administrative of a large network.
Experience with updating Windows Domain Controllers, Applications Servers, and other specialized Windows Servers.
Experience with configuration Windows Active Directory and Windows Servers in accordance with DISA STIG requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency with desktop applications
U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (interim required to start).
Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Experience with integrated Red Hat Identity Management with Active Directory and associated trusts.
