Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Senior Electromagnetics Engineer to support various ongoing programs within the RF and HPM Testing Division.
The engineer will:
Plan, conduct, and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of engineers and technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects
Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects
Recommend approaches for new or improved technologies and processes
Provide technical leadership and oversight for junior engineers within the team
Prepare documentation of projects including technical reports and presentations to customers as well as participation in the scientific community through conference and journal contributions
The RF and HPM Testing Division is responsible for research and development of state of the art High Power Microwave (HPM) technologies involving HPM effects testing, RF sources, material science, electromagnetics, and related mechanical and thermal design. The duties will include, but are not limited to technical design, analysis, assembly, integration, and testing of HPM systems, analog electronics, antenna systems, data acquisition devices, and digital control systems.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a laboratory setting while engaging in research and development of HPM technologies. The work will include interacting with scientists, engineers, and technicians to conduct day-to-day design, testing, analyze test results, perform failure analyses, and write and present test summaries and scientific reports.
