We have an immediate opening for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the US Army Combat and Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) in Huntsville AL. Salary based on relevant experience and education.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Modeling and Simulation analysis forDEVCOMAviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Army System of Systems Branch.
Conduct Systems-level performance and trade studies for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems, for both Army and Joint System Architectures.
Develop, modify, and optimize analysis tools to support analyses as required by government customers.
Develop and analyze battle management concepts and algorithms for multiple weapon systems.
Develop and execute monte-carlo simulation runs for parametric analysis.
Key member in building a new lab/analysis capability to support a new Joint Program Office.
Participate in periodic program reviews and technical presentations to Government stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
Five (5) years' Technical and Software experience, to include weapons system development and/or analysis.
Experience in developing or modifying simulations of weapon systems, including (but not limited to) models/simulations of sensors, command and control (C2) systems, interceptors, seekers, launchers.
Experience using IC models to generate threat data inputs for simulation use.
Good problem-solving skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel 10% of the time.
Active Secret Clearance, TS preferred.

Additional Desired Experience
Strong programming or analysis tool development background
Experience with simulation integration and/or simulation framework.
Experience with Missile modeling (3dof, 5dof), seeker modeling, C2 modeling, and/or radar modeling,
Experienced conducting analysis and development of sensor, communications, or C2 systems.
Experience with C++, Java, Python, Matlab, Gitlab,
Ability to grow technical efforts and take on leadership tasks for the company.
