Position Title: Contracts Specialist
Location: Redstone Arsenal
Position Type: Full-Time
Travel Requirements: Less than 10% of the time
Position Summary: Candidate will work as a contract support analyst to a US Army government project office. This position will involve assisting in the development and coordination of Contracts Requirements Packages (CRP), assisting senior management with contracting strategy development and working with the customer through numerous contracting activities in parallel in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or Financial field required.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Must have 4-10 years of applicable contracting experience through DoD programs.
Independent thinker and self starter is important, with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task and support varied assignments.
Good communication skills are important, with a positive and friendly demeanor.
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience with major weapon systems acquisition highly desired.
