Description
The Program Manager will collaborate with Sales, Product Managers, and Operations to oversee the execution of several simultaneous customer program/accounts while meeting contract objectives including cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction. This position has no immediate direct reports and reports to the Sr. Director of Business Development/Sales for Microwave.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic planning and execution of multiple programs related to military and telecom customers.
Establish and develop performance, delivery, cost and customer satisfaction metrics while creating and executing plans to reach these targets as well as other relevant organizational goals.

Monthly Key Client Executive Review (Senior Staff)
Quarterly Plant Level Client Review at Town Hall
Ability to lead cross-functional teams across different departments by delegating tasks and holding team members accountable.
Interface with Supply Chain and external suppliers to create, manage and execute material readiness programs taking into account the risks and opportunities associated with each and every material procured. Developing and maintaining second sources for materials and outside testing of finished components.
Gather and document voice of the customer input to drive continuous improvement.
Regularly host customer's onsite and via teleconference while gathering appropriate data and ensuring commitments are delivered upon.
Ownership of customer scorecard metrics with the ability to drive improvement across multiple departments.
Lead efforts to provide customer with thorough CAPA reports related to technical quality issues and non-technical issues associated with missed deliveries.
Work with QA to institute failsafe methods for prevention of aforementioned issues.
Define both potential and existing opportunities.
Identify new product and account opportunities and compile quote information on competitive products.
Respond to requests for quotes, providing detailed price quotes on prospective business opportunities.
Monitor the results of sales activities against planned objectives.
Build long-term relationships within assigned customer accounts, including key personnel in engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and purchasing
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Strong understanding of the principles, systems, and concepts of operational execution in a manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing experience or similar relevant technical experience desired.
Experience working with both direct customers, suppliers, and other external partners.
U.S. Citizenship is required. Active Confidential, Secret, or Top Secret clearance is a plus.
Must be able to travel between Cazenovia, NY site location and various customer locations. Expected travel is less than 25%.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Science or a related discipline (Master's Degree in a technical field or MBA is desired).
Relevant electrical/electronic manufacturing product and industry knowledge preferred.
Previous program or project management experience is highly desired.
Lean Six Sigma training is desired.
