The Senior Mgr - Contracts Management candidate will provide Senior Leadership for the LM Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), Small Combatants and Ship Systems (SC&SS) Market Segment Contracts Organization, supporting DoD, other Government, and International Customers. Serve as a valued business leader and partner with business development, programs, functional counterparts and Market Segment leadership to drive creative and competitive contracting approaches. Responsible for driving contractual strategies and innovative mind-set across the diverse business portfolio. Establish and refine contracting practices to ensure all contractual requirements are met during program execution. Lead contracts support for proposal development, fact finding and negotiations. Provide leadership, management and expertise to the staff of Contracts professionals and guide growth of the function as necessary to support needs of the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) Line of Business. Must be able to travel as needed. In addition, the individual will establish and maintain favorable relations and communication with customer representatives, ensuring through the assigned Contracts professionals timely contract execution, interpretation and risk analysis of contractual provisions/requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
-Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
-Contracting professionals with commercial, international, and U.S. Government contracts experience.
-Experience with and knowledge of the FAR and DFARS.
-Capture management experience. Contracts negotiation professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
-Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
-Ability to build effective relationships with internal/external customers.
-Excellent business acumen.
- Currently possess a Secret Security clearance or have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. (To obtain a clearance, you must be a U.S. citizen)
-Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
-Experienced in all stages of contract management from pre-solicitation through contract closeout.

-Significant management experience in providing leadership to the contracting team and providing guidance to Program Management personnel.
-Familiarity with Lockheed Martin processes and procedures.
-Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $127,700 - $244,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
