Lockheed Martin's SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to join the SOF GLSS team in Fayetteville, NC. The candidate will perform classified duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups.
What You Will Be Doing
As the General Maintenance Worker your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Escort approved visitors throughout the facility
Perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such tasks as carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, masonry, electrical, or plumbing activities
Operate gardening and grounds care equipment as required
Perform operator maintenance on all equipment used in the follow-through of duties and report higher echelon maintenance requirements to appropriate personnel
Assist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance, as required
Work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays
Work overtime as required
Escort visitors

Work flexible hours and overtime as required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Experience performing general maintenance of buildings and equipment.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions up to 75% of the workday.
Must be able to climb ladders potentially as high as a two-story building.
Be available to work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays.
Be available to work overtime as required.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance, and must have an Interim Secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
