Challenging Projects:
As a Front Office Support Specialist, you will tackle a variety of critical tasks, from managing calendars and correspondence to supporting protocol and distinguished visitor programs. You will ensure that all events and administrative tasks align with MARSOC's high standards, making you a key player in MARSOC's operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Command Deck: Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership, including the Commander, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, Staff Secretary, and Protocol Officer.
Prepare Official Correspondence: Draft and manage official documents, including Marine Corps fitness reports, civilian performance appraisals, and other critical communications.
Manage Protocol and DV Programs: Coordinate and manage the protocol and Distinguished Visitor (DV) programs, ensuring seamless interactions with SOCOM, Headquarters Marine Corps, and foreign military dignitaries.
Plan and Coordinate Events: Organize and execute social functions and events to honor distinguished guests, meeting the high standards expected by the Command.
Support Office Operations: Maintain comprehensive files for all front office purchases, support internal control programs, and assist in office inspections.
Calendar and Meeting Management: Manage daily calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate video teleconferences for front office personnel.
Travel Arrangements: Coordinate travel logistics, including hotel and rental car reservations, for front office staff.
Correspondence Management: Review, track, and disseminate official correspondence to ensure timely and accurate communication.
State-of-the-Art Technology:
You will use industry-standard tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), the Marine Corps Action Tracking System (MCATS), and the Task Management Tool (TMT), enabling efficient workflow and communication within the Command.
New Skills:
This position provides exposure to high-level military operations and protocol management. You will gain in-depth experience with the Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS), the Manager's Internal Control Program, and event planning for distinguished visitors.

You Have:
SECRET Security Clearance
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 4 years of military experience.
Prior experience in administrative or front office support roles, particularly in a military or government setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Marine Corps operations, protocol procedures, and software systems such as MCATS and TMT.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with high-ranking military personnel and government officials.
Working knowledge of Marine Corps administrative systems such as APES, MCTFS, IAPS, and timekeeping systems like SLDCADA and MCSS PeopleSoft.
Nice to Haves:
Previous experience supporting senior military or government officials.
Understanding of MARSOC's organizational structure and its interrelationships with other Department of Defense entities.
Clearance:
