The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated Storage Administrators to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command Information Technology and Logistics Support (SCITLS) contract.
Responsibilities:
Daily configuration and operation (manage, update, troubleshoot) of all storage area network (SAN) devices.
Monitor system performance and optimize system operation and resource utilization using tools such as NetApp OnCommand, vCenter, or third-party monitoring solutions.
Perform capacity analysis of current storage usage trends, plan for and forecast future needs, and effectively allocate available disk space.
Review and adjust storage configurations of LUNs, volumes, and datastores to optimize performance.
Perform data and file storage administration and related functions including provisioning and monitoring backups and restorations, firmware upgrades, and patch management.
Perform system startup, shutdown, diagnostics, file management, user and group setups, and determination of login scripts.
Provide incident and problem management solutions related to storage outages or performance degradation.
Interfaces with vendors for trouble calls.
Supports the planning of system/environment requirements for individual projects.
May provide work direction and guidance to others.
Qualifications:
Required:
Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
BA/BS + 4-8 years experience, depending on skill level. AA/AS and additional years of experience may be accepted.
Current DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP OS, including proficiency in using command-line interfaces and management tools.
Solid understanding of VMWare vSAN architecture, including experience with deployment, configuration, and management of vSAN clusters.
Knowledge of storage protocols such as NIS, iSCSI, and FC, and how they integrate with both NetApp and vSAN.
Experience with backup and recovery solutions for NetApp (e.g. Snapshots, SnapMirror) and vSAN (integrated third-party products).
Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
Customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources.
Experience in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
Desired:
Professional-level Certifications (VCP, etc.)
Experience in automating administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, VBScript, etc.
Knowledge of and experience with USSTRATCOM
Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.
Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
