SAIC is seeking a skilled and experienced Software/Database Engineer to join our esteemed team at the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC), Studies and Analytics Division. This pivotal role supports the national nuclear command, control, and communications infrastructure with a focus on Oracle database systems and cloud-based application integration.
What You Will Do:
Design and Innovate : Design, program, and implement advanced Oracle database systems tailored for cloud applications.
Agile Teamwork : Excel within an integrated software team environment, adhering to an Agile Framework to deliver top-notch solutions.
DevSecOps Excellence : Navigate through cutting-edge DevSecOps pipelines and processes for effective delivery of database systems into diverse cloud environments.
Secure Deployments : Manage the deployment of database systems across various secure enclaves, maintaining the utmost data security and integrity
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and nine (9) or more years' experience; Master's degree and seven (7) or more years' experience; PhD or JD and four (4) or more years' experience. Candidates with thirteen (13) or more years' of directly applicable experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Oracle Proficiency : Demonstrated experience with Oracle development, including proficiency in PL/SQL, stored functions and procedures, packages, jobs, and triggers.
Administrative Experience : A substantial background in Oracle database administration is desirable.
Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
