Description
The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint solutions within the ABMS Division. This role ensures the functionality, reliability, and continuity of the SharePoint environment to meet user requirements and support mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities:
Installation and Configuration: Install and configure SharePoint environments, including servers, databases, and applications.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
User Support: Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to SharePoint.
Site Management: Create, manage, and update SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows.
Security Management: Implement and manage security protocols to protect data and ensure compliance with DoD and USAF regulations.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators to enhance their understanding and use of SharePoint.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SharePoint administration, preferably within a DoD environment.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
Proficiency in SharePoint 2016/2019 and SharePoint Online.
Strong understanding of Windows Server, SQL Server, and Active Directory.
Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Experience with Microsoft Teams
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
An active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, and other Office 365 applications.
Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures.
