Command, Control, and Communications Technical SME
Key Role:
Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Employ knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with C++
Experience leading a multidisciplinary team of 4+ staff
Experience developing and executing technical task plans, including schedule and cost
Experience interacting with customer technical leads and program management
Experience managing Git repositories
Experience using CMake
Knowledge of C3 systems, including their operational use and functions
Ability to identify risks, and develop and execute mitigation strategies
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering or physics, Master's degree and 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering or physics, or 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering or physics in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience acting as domain expert in an integrated product team, developing computer-based models and simulations
Experience in multidisciplinary teams, developing computer-based models and simulations
Knowledge of RF antennas or track filters
Knowledge of RF and radar systems
Knowledge of foreign ground C4 systems such as artillery, electronic warfare, or air defense systems
Knowledge of foreign ground combat systems
Knowledge of foreign ground combat communication systems and networks
Knowledge of simulation frameworks such as ODESSA, ITASE, or AFSIM
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including both in-person and virtually through telephone, video conferences, and developing documentation
TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
