Responsibilities
The Senior Systems Administrator Support Specialist will provide specialized Information Technology and network administration in support of advanced IT infrastructure development. Your focus will be to provide Windows Server/Linux administration. But you will also provide technical advice on advanced IT and networking issues. Interact daily with Information Technology/Cybersecurity Teams, Program Managers, and industry subject matter experts across multiple domains (air, space, cyber) to assist the government with technical assessments and strategic planning.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Associate's degree in IT related field with 5+ years' of direct IT and systems administration experience.
Technical bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering) desired.
Technical master's degree in an IT-related field (cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering) highly desired.
Experience With/Knowledge of:
8-12 years of experience required.
DoD8570 Level II
Cyber Systems development and sustainment
Network protection, attack, exploitation.
Integration and test for DoD and USAF systems
DoD, USAF, and interagency information assurance requirements
DoD, USAF, and interagency security accreditation procedures
Current applicable SAP and SCI information assurance requirements (JSIG, RMF, JAFAN, etc.)
DoD and /or USAF Special Access Programs
Numerous methods of communication/data transmission
Candidates must possess and demonstrate proven communication skills- written and verbal.
Clearance Requirements:
Candidates for this position must possess a current TOP SECRET clearance and be eligible for access to both TOP SECRET Special Access Programs (SAPs) and TOP SECRET Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). With at least 12 months of SAP experience within the last 3 years.
