Overview
Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Space Flight Systems Development and Operations Contract (SpaceDOC III) contract located at NASA's Glenn Research Center.
Responsibilities
The BM reports to the PM and directs contracts, procurements, subcontracts management, and manages all financial aspects of the contract to include cost estimating, analysis, and reporting. The BM manages accounting functions in the accounting system (contract funding, timekeeping, accounts payable, and open commitments). The BM is the interface with government to verify consistency of contract accounting. The BM manages personnel in the business office and Team SLI business system infrastructure.
Qualifications
Minimum bachelors of Science degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
Direct experience with management of people and programs for cross utilization and cross training facility personnel is preferred.
Experience with marketing and business development of test services is preferred.
Experience with developing and managing contract teams in a seamless, integrated, badge less manner Is preferred.
Direct experience with program management in a performance based contract environment is preferred.
Direct experience with implementing organizational change, close partnering with customers in an operations environment to initiate change is preferred.
Track record of initiating process improvements and cost reductions, and history of successfully managing schedules and budgets in an operations environment is preferred.
U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.
