Job Description:
Plans work and layout, sets up and fabricates a wide variety of intricate, experimental and/or production sheet metal parts and final assemblies from raw material. Works with and interprets standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, formulas, sketches, verbal and electronic orders, job layouts, etc. to accomplish assigned work. Checks and inspects operations against specified tolerances.
Essential Functions:
Operate CNC Laser Weld Machine
Work consists of tasks that are routine. Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures
Follows established processes to complete tasks
Escalate issues to Lead or Supervisor for resolution
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience .
Be able to obtain explosive handler license
Ability to get a Security Clearance if required.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Previous welding or laser welding experience
Experience in a manufacturing assembly or fabrication environment
Attention to detail.
Require developing job knowledge/skills
