Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Avionics Integration Engineer to join the F-15 System Program Office within Astrion's Air Force Division, F-15 Foreign Military Sales in Dayton, Ohio.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Science (MS)) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
OR, BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
OR, 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 8 of which must be in the DoD.
Current Required Security Clearance: Secret
Must have knowledge of avionics engineering in support of avionics subsystem definition, development, integration, all verification methods to include review of ICD, sustainment, Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A), T&E, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems.
Must have knowledge of radar theory and principles, and an understanding of the radar design, development, and implementation process is required. Expected activities include providing technical advice and serving as the technical interface between the Government customers and the radar manufacturers, interacting with customers, participating in meetings, and producing technical detailed products.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
The Contractor shall independently demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Skype/Lync, and MS Teams), Adobe Acrobat, and applications for access to the World Wide Web including MS Internet Explorer. The Contractor may be required to learn to use other commercial or specialized computer applications as specified in this PWS.
Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Will demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise (Program Office, Enterprise and Staff Level Support interface)
RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: not all inclusive)
Serve as an avionics engineer with particular emphasis in integration of radar and EW sensors and shall develop/review/update applicable program documentation for avionics engineering relevant requirements.
Assist the Government in drafting and developing systems/subsystem specifications and various engineering documents in support of milestone reviews and events and shall be responsible for development and test of the program system hardware and software and its integration into the program
