Amentum has an opportunity for a Capability Integrator to work closely with Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) staff sections to manage the development, experimentation, and post-experiment actions of SOCPAC's prioritized emergent capabilities. The individual will support a variety of critical tasks, from planning working groups to coordinating with DoD and other defense entities, with a focus on ensuring that SOCPAC's capabilities are successfully integrated and tested.??
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with select SOCPAC staff sections to manage the requirement development, experimentation, and post-experiment activities for prioritized emergent capabilities.
Oversee efforts to field capabilities to USSOF.
Plan, manage, and execute experimentation working groups as directed
Ensure collaboration with all relevant stakeholders to optimize experimentation outcomes.
Assist in the development of operational needs statements (ONS), joint urgent operational needs statements (JUONS), and other formal requirement documents.
Work with DoD, OUSD R&E, INDOPACOM, SOCOM, and related service components to support SOCPAC experimentation efforts, ensuring proper coordination and funding.
Enable the testing and evaluation of emergent concepts, capabilities, and formations in SOCPAC exercises.
Stay informed about SOF service component capability developments and integration efforts.
Be prepared to assist with other experimentation tasks as identified by the directors
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field
Strong understanding of defense experimentation, capability development, and operational requirements.
Ability to effectively plan and execute working groups and manage projects within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Must have an active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI, SAP/STO eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree and 10+ years of experience in related field
The salary range for this position is $135K to $170K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
