Configuration Manager

The Configuration Management team supports the 480 ISRW Technical Director/A6, regarding configuration capture, documentation and technical integration of IT technologies, including cloud computing solutions for the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission of the Airforce at Beale AFB, CA.
Task: Network Configuration Management Services.
Subtasks. The Configuration Manager shall:
Provide network configuration and performance management.
Identify, map, and document both WAN and CAN, information processing system components, devices, applications, and configurations (both hardware and software).
Ensure distribution of software applications to local and remote DPA sites.
Provide Network Address Management and allocation (for example, IP address and Emulated Local Area Network (ELAN) management, autonomous systems, etc.).
Review, validate, process, and maintain NSR and PSR historical packages; validate and coordinate on NSR.
Maintain security parameters and domain names.
Maintain DPA configuration information for data, current architecture, and modifications to include system configuration data and command and control (C2) client workstation applications.
Manage East Coast Hub (ECH), West Coast Hub (WCH), CAN, and Air Force DCGS Point of Presence (AFDPoP) drawings.
Develop project management documentation (i.e. white papers, reports/studies, briefings, test plans)
Participate in, and provide oversight for, test and operational development and migration for on-site installations
Provide technical analysis and support for all proposed and validated system requirements for DCGS in support of operational requirements
Participate in system requirements reviews, technical exchanges, and design reviews as directed.
Document WAN/CAN topology, rack elevations, information processing system components, devices, applications, and configurations of the DCGS weapon system
Position Requirements:
Must have TS clearance with SCI eligibility
Minimum of six (6) years network configuration management experience.
Preferred - System integration experience with AF DCGS
Possess ITIL (Foundation level) and IAT Level II certifications within 6 months of hire

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
