Job Description:
Parsons has immediate openings for a Business Analyst to perform a variety of work to support PG&E Infrastructure division.
We have a role in San Jose, CA - this is a hybrid position. But could require occasional travel from San Jose to Santa Barbara to support PG&E facilities.
Specific Responsibilities
Analyst Position South Bay and Central Coast Region
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Manages data management projects from initial request to presenting data results ensuring that the project work is completed, accurate and closed out. Monitoring and optimizing accurate data performance.
DATA PROCESSING: Creates automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery ensuring accurate data manipulation and data cleansing.
DATA EXTRACTS AND FILE TRANSFERS: Manages extracting data and transferring the data from databases to various analysts to support operational analysis efforts.
DATA ANALYSIS: Analyzes data using various statistical tools to develop ad hoc reports, statistics, trends, and profiles. May develop and/or maintain data models for what-if analysis and for other business purposes
REPORTING: Develops and communicates clear, concise, and actionable data analyses for leadership
CONDUCTS RESEARCH, data analysis, forecasting, and reporting in support of business decision-making, strategy, and operations.
METRICS AND REPROTING: Develops and tracks business metrics. Develops business intelligence dashboards and maintains standard, custom, and ad-hoc reports.
QUALITY ASSURANCE, Works with and leverages relationships with South Bay and Central Coast team and leaders as well as our vendors. Presets findings and proposed recommendations.
Education and Typical Experience
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, information management, construction management or related field
-5+ years of related experience including document/records management, systems development life cycle analysis, design and testing, and analyzing and developing business processes and workflow models. and
Experience in writing project-specific procedures. and
Experience in life cycle information system development and
Professional experience relevant to large design/construction programs.

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
