Cimarron is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our McClellan Park, CA team. The selected candidate for this positionwill be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT systems and network infrastructure for a classified government program. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work closely with government clients and team members to ensure the smooth operation and security of the systems.
Key Duties:
Install, decommission, and troubleshoot Windows-based workstations and servers.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and network equipment.
Install, maintain, and terminate twisted-pair and fiber communication media.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, and motion sensors.
Manage Active Directory user accesses.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph clearance.
3 or more years of Windows system administrator experience, including Exchange and Active Directory.
3 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel).
Willingness to occasionally be available for on-call emergency system maintenance.
Ability to lift/carry up to 35 pounds; push/pull using up to 45 pounds of force; and reach overhead up to six hours per day.
Ability to operate aerial work platform and boom lift equipment.
History of aiding others with troubleshooting and helpdesk-type issue resolution.
Security + or comparable/higher certification.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
Experience with facility alarms, CCTV, and controlled access systems.
Licensed for low-voltage electrical work.
Experience with installing CCTV cameras, HID card readers, and motion sensors.
Prior experience with installation of Windows workstations, servers, and network-attached storage (NAS).
History of training others and leading on-the-job training of system users.
Experience with remote management of workstations, servers, and network switches.
Knowledge of off-line system and software updates.
Ability to read and interpret building floor plans and wiring diagrams.
