We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled LCS Waterfront Support Program Analyst to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position requires a strong background in leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Summary:
In this role, you will support Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) Integration Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) providing waterfront engineering support to in-service LCS class vessels.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing technical and programmatic support to the combat systems on in-service ships
Familiarity with DoD/DON Policies and Procedures related to systems engineering processes and acquisition and modernization of Navy combat systems
Participation in program management reviews and preparing and coordinating inputs for status reports, briefings, and information inquiries
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Science with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience providing technical and programmatic support to combat systems on in-service ships or twenty (20) years of experience in leu of degree
Experience planning and executing Navy ship maintenance availabilities
Demonstrated leadership and experience managing teams
Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS as needed up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
Littoral Combat Ship class shipboard experience
Former US Navy Chief Petty Officer
Clearance Requirements:
Current and active Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment
The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00-$155,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
