Amentum is currently seeking a Supply Technician for our FRC ASE El Centro, California location.
This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.
The Supply Technician requires a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs NALCOMIS, MAXIMO, FEDLOG, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines; receiving, storing, and distributing supplies, and ensuring they are handled properly and maintaining inventory records, checking shelves, and reordering items; preparing and processing documents for the requisition, purchase, receipt, issuance, and delivery of goods; and securing and maintaining control records for property and equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
Must have 5 years of aircraft supply equipment assets management experience to the level of effort and complexity of the requirements in the SOW.
Must be a graduate of a school equivalent to Navy A and/or C school or civilian experience/training.
Must have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in: Navy aviation supply systems, procedures, reports and forms; NALCOMIS and VIDS/MAFs entry and completion; and IMRL Program.
Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.
Daily tasks require standing, climbing, bending and stooping. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance for issuance of a Common Access Card (CAC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer 4 years' Military Supply Administration experience or equivalent.
