Overview
Supports the Science, Engineering, and Technology (SET) business unit in the development of autonomy and command and control (C2) software for uncrewed air, ground, and waterborne systems. Learns skills related to their degree while also supporting departments across the organization with technical tasks. Work is performed under immediate supervision and provides a real-world application of classroom knowledge.
Responsibilities
Experience hands on work experience in support of on-going projects.
Provide administrative and technical support.
Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment by managing time and effort across multiple projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree or graduate degree program at an accredited college/university in a STEM field and must have completed at least 2 years of higher education at the time of the internship (Summer 2025).
0-5 years of relevant experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn.
Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge or experience with C, C++, Java, or C#/.NET.
Prefer understanding of Agile software development.
Familiarity with git for software source control and configuration management is a plus.
Experience with remote controlled boats, vehicles, or planes is a plus.
Experience with Linux is a plus
Experience with single board computers (Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, etc.) is a plus.
Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.
Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
Work with supervision and have accountability for accurate and complete results.

Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
