i3 is seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. The Software Developer designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with systems engineers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, and development. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions.
Responsibilities
Work directly with clients to support various projects and solutions.
Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365 as well as other platforms.
Satisfy requirements, meet project completion dates, and perform quality assurance testing for developed products.
Connect data from different sources like SharePoint, SQL or Dataverse in PowerApps.
Build software by writing code, as well as modify software to fix errors and/or improve its performance.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
This role can be filled at two levels:
Bachelor's degree in STEM (and 2 years of relevant experience, or Masters and 0 years) or additional years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered
Bachelor's degree in STEM (and 5 years of relevant experience, or Masters and 3 years) or additional years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered
Experience with JAVA
Experience with Linux
Experience with GitLab or similar
Understanding of all phases of software development, and practical experience in an Agile/Dev*Ops environmen
Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain a DoD Secret security clearance required.
U. S. Citizenship is required.
