Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Health & Safety Manager to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for Parsons’s health, safety, and environment (HSE) for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIDP). Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and Delivery Partners.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Leads full-time, part-time, and collateral duty project and program HSW specialists in implementing work plans, risk management practices and supporting Program delivery.
- Advises and assists project manager, program manager and/or other project and program personnel in conforming to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system and Parsons’ policies and procedures.
- Develops and implements QIDP HSW plans and standard operating procedures, integrating with the wider project execution, engineering and logistics plans for consistency across the program.
- Coordinates HSW with other delivery partners (Jacobs and Mace), as well as QIC, external stakeholders, all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.
- Performs inspections, audits and wider assurance activities. Prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective and preventative measures, monitoring to completion.
- Sets project wide HSW goals, ensuring adherence to corporate, client, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, procedures and lessons learned.
- Contributes to the QIDP and sector assurance plans, delivers HSW assurance activities as per the plans and supports Quality, Sustainability and Environment assurance activities as required.
- Performs regulatory and best practice HSW training. Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes and assists in meeting company goals and initiatives, profitability, and productivity requirements.
- Leads on unusually complex HSE problems and provides solutions that are highly creative, in coordination with site and engineering leads.
- Analyzes incident data and identify trends and recommend actions to avoid Incidents across the organization; identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices across the program
- Collaborates with project and program managers to evaluate contractors’ HSW performance, planning, and culture to be consistent with the QIC’s risk management practices and core values.
- Initiates and conducts thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses using defensible protocols.
- Collaborates with project and program managers, craft workers, and other program personnel to identify and implement assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas, leading in the fields of HSW including review and update of existing procedures and processes as required by QIDP or QIC.
- Develops, implements and maintains QIDP HSW training programs and modules, participates in routine safe work briefings with QIDP staff and contractors.
- Assure compliance with company standards, contractual requirements and local legal safety, health and environmental requirement and best practice where applicable.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent) experience or Diploma in the field of health, safety, and environment; risk management, crisis management and resilience or related discipline
- Previous experience in a senior role managing and directing a team
- 10+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety
- 5+ years’ experience in large scale, multi-disciplinary, mega or giga construction projects, specifically in the field of health and safety.
- Certificates such as ISO 45001, 14001; OSHA 10; 30-hour General Industry Health & Safety and accident and incident investigation,
- Incident Command Systems (ICS)
- Demonstration of Continuous Personal Development (Training and certificates)
- Extensive knowledge of Federal and State health and safety regulations and reporting procedures
- Advanced knowledge of safety-related national consensus standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA)
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity and deliver with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated teamwork, management, mentoring and Contractor Management skills with the ability to work with a cross section of professionals.
- Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.
- Ability to follow through clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting) and exhibit effective decision making.
- Ability to interact with senior-level management and to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
- Investigating Workplace Incidents and accidents.
- Effective time management and decision-making capabilities.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would be an advantage
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is preferred
