Job Description:
Parsons is now hiring a Excellence Department Director who can lead a team of professionals overseeing every phase of mission critical programs. In this role you will provide management and technical direction for all facets of Excellence in multiple disciplines under guidelines of the Program VP.
Responsibilities:
An Excellence Director in an EPMO setup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across the organization. He will lead the Quality, Continuous Improvement, Training and Risk Management departments:
Strategic Leadership:
Support the development and implementation of the EPMO's strategic vision and goals: Align the EPMO's objectives with the overall organizational strategy,
Foster a culture of excellence: Promote a mindset of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance across all departments of the organization.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders: Build collaborative partnerships with senior leadership, project managers, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and support for EPMO initiatives.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee the development and implementation of EPMO methodologies and processes: Define, document, and enforce standardized project management practices, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Monitor and analyze project performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
Conduct regular audits and reviews of project portfolios: Assess the health and alignment of projects with strategic objectives and recommend optimization strategies.
Identify and implement process improvements: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements: Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
Knowledge Management and Training:
Establish and maintain a knowledge repository: Create a centralized repository of project management best practices, lessons learned, and valuable resources.
Provide training and development opportunities: Organize workshops, training sessions, and certifications to enhance the skills and knowledge of project managers and EPMO team members.
Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration: Foster a culture of learning and sharing experiences among project teams.
Reporting and Analytics:
Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems: Design and implement reporting mechanisms to provide timely and accurate insights into project performance, portfolio health, and resource utilization.
Analyze data and trends: Utilize data analytics tools to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare executive-level reports: Present clear and concise reports to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor / Master in the engineering discipline from a Western University.
Minimum of 20 years of experience of direct professional oversight of the following functional areas: project controls (cost, scheduler, and score trends), environment, safety & health, risk management, contracts, procurement, financial management, quality assurance and control on large scale projects.
Expert knowledge of project process improvement, change management, leadership initiative, managing change in the infrastructure industry environment with major government and/or semi government projects
Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity
Proficiency in both Arabic & English is MUST
