Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to join its team. The environmental Specialist will assess projects' environmental-social impact and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate should have at least 13 years of experience in environmental analysis, preferably in the housing sector.
What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct research, collect data, and analyze environmental processes and requirements to identify areas for improvement.
Collect and organize data from various sources, including surveys, experiments, and administrative records.
Design and implement questionnaires, data collection methods, and procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
Review and evaluate environmental reports from other consultants, contractors, or agencies.
Develop environmental studies, and requirements, to use studies based on the analysis.
Conduct environmental assessments such as site environmental analysis, waste management policies, and environmental Social Impact Assessment reports using software modeling packages.
Assess the land and research any previous investigations of that site ongoing communication with clients, inspectors, and regulators, identifying previous activities and any contamination when assessing property.
Conduct field and desk-based research and hand over completed and detailed scientific reports, written in a manner that non-technical people can understand to establish a baseline condition for contamination.
Regulate and advise clients to clear of possible fines, legal action, or misguided transactions.
Interpret and communicate statistical findings to non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental Science or a related field.
+13 years of experience in environmental analysis, preferably in the housing sector.
Professional certification in environmental analysis is preferred.
Arabic Speaker is a must.

Knowledge of environmental analysis studies methodologies and reports.
Knowledge of Saudi housing regulations and policies is preferred.
