We have a large backlog that needs to be broken down and planned for and in addition, we'll be refactoring our customer's flagship so your talents are in demand here! You will be responsible for all the typical Agile components including the backlog, starting and stopping sprints, sprint planning meetings, velocity management, retrospectives, and daily standups. Your expertise and experience managing complex software development tasks and diverse personnel skill sets would be invaluable as you work with our team to implement, support, and guide your colleagues in an effective Agile practice. This is a highly visible leadership role and position within the team, we are looking for someone who can work with a sense of urgency and confidence in this position, and we need someone who is an exceptional communicator. This position allows the opportunity for some remote work while performing tasks to support the low-side development team.
Duties of this position include:
The candidate will be responsible for collection and intake, vetting, documentation, and delivery of requirements documents from concept to implementation.
Regular grooming of all project backlog items and assistance with project's Agile practices
Run Spring Planning meetings in support of 3 week sprints
Start and Stop the sprints on the board type of your choice
Hold sprint retrospectives
Report sprint velocity when appropriate
Assist other teams by removing impediments, work with requirements, developers, customer support specialists, and test personnel when appropriate and necessary
Report to senior customer management
You'll Bring These Qualifications
10+ years' experience including:
JIRA Expertise
Excellent communication skills
Leadership experience
Willingness to learn and support legacy tools and software applications
Scrum Master certification
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Experience working within the Intelligence Community
PMF/Control Gate Framework experience

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$94,400 - $198,300
