Network Engineer, Mid
The Opportunity:
As a Systems Security and Network Security Engineer on our team, you'll lead troubleshooting efforts and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of networks, security devices, and applications. You'll manage the research of technology and market trends to further develop feasible network solutions for a fast-paced Department of Defense (DoD) client.In this role, you'll translate our customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting and implementing solutions that solve the most vexing problems in the DoD today. Through your expertise, we'll help transform the way our client uses technology by integrating advanced methods and modernizing legacy systems. As a technical expert, you'll shape the digital solutions business and identify opportunities for growth.

What You'll Work On:
Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas; leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

You Have:
Experience with designing, deploying, and managing Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls
Experience with software defined networking, including SD-WAN, SD-Access, or SASE
Experience with configuring and maintaining all aspects of Cisco infrastructure
Experience with operating in a data center with multiple commercial compute, storage, and hyper converged infrastructure solutions
Knowledge of Cisco ISE and AAA concepts, and F5 devices
Knowledge of virtual environments, including vCenter or ESXi
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Cisco CCNP and 8570.01/8140.03 IAT Level II or Security + Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages
Experience with deploying and configuring segmentation strategies in Cisco
Experience with integrating tools into SDN products using APIs
Experience with SIEM tools, including Splunk
Knowledge of networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IS-IS
Knowledge of DoD networks and organizations
Ability to author technical documentation, whitepapers, and SOPs on Zero Trust network focus concepts
Clearance:
