Job Description:
Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented Project Coordinator to join our team!
In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.
What You'll Be Doing:
As directed by the Project/Operations Manager, obtains competitive bids from outside vendors for a variety of services such as on-site copiers, maintenance services, etc.
Prepare detailed comparisons to determine which vendor best meets the office's needs with respect to both cost and level of service. May participate in negotiating contractual terms and conditions; submit recommended purchase/lease arrangements to the Project/Operations Manager for review and approval.
Maintains files of previously used vendors and seeks new, more economical ways of meeting the needs of the office.
Reconciles various office accounts; pays essential operating bills or submits appropriate documentation to the corporate office for payment. Follows up as needed to ensure timeliness and avoidance of late payments.Prepares standard financial reports on a recurring and/or ad hoc basis.Orders office supplies.
Maintains appropriate inventory of frequently used items such as paper goods. Understands and adheres to all budgetary restrictions.
Coordinates telephone changes, office moves, best utilization of IT equipment, etc., as directed by the Project/Operations Manager and IT Manager.
Originates correspondence and reports not requiring the personal attention of the Project/Operations Manager.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology and typically 3+ years of related work experience.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Good written and oral communication, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills, are required. Proficiency in MS Office, with Expertise in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is required.
