Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work within a new PMO working on major highways / infrastructure projects in the KSA Capital, Riyadh City.
What You'll Be Doing:
Review the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, monitoring progress to maintain those schedules and budgets.
Identifies and documents changes in scope.
Assists in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned projects, monitoring progress to maintain those procurements.
Assists in bid analysis to help determine supplier availability and capability.
Coordinates with other personnel from other technical support groups within the Company and from third parties.
Assists the assigned Project Manager in planning, directing, supervision, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study.
Ensures client criteria and scope are met.
Participates regularly in decision-making meetings with the client, design consultant and contractors.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
10+ years of related work experience.
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
Proficiency in using landscape design software and undertaking / reviewing all associated calculations
Experience in reviewing third party designs and coordinating comments for approval
Experience of working within a multi-discipline team environment
Proactive approach to own activities and helping in other disciplines, as far as practically possible, to assist in PMO overall efficiency.
Must be knowledgeable of current landscape practices and how to best implement it on the project.
Provide support to senior staff concerning all landscape related issues.
Attend weekly / monthly meetings as necessary with specific regard to landscape issues
Provide landscape input to weekly / monthly reports
Inform the Senior Landscape Architect / Resident Engineer of any potential delays in the project completion or milestones
Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings within his/her line of work.
