Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Traffic Engineering Lead to join our team. Traffic Engineering Lead leads the team responsible for analyzing traffic patterns and implementing engineering solutions to optimize traffic flow and safety.
What You'll Be Doing:
Traffic Analysis Leadership: Oversee traffic studies, design, and simulation modeling to optimize traffic flow and safety.
Signal Optimization: Develop and implement strategies for signal timing, phasing, and coordination across intersections.
Traffic Safety Management: Analyze traffic incident data and propose engineering solutions to reduce crashes.
Design Review and Approval: Review and approve detailed designs for intersections, roadways, and traffic control devices.
Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring that project requirements are met and communicated effectively.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 15+ years in traffic engineering, with demonstrated experience in a lead role.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Proficiency in traffic engineering and modeling software
Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex traffic data and trends.
Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
