Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Training and Development Specialist/SME to join our team! In this role you will get to develop and train technical skills in live and virtual training environments to federal departments and agencies .
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop technical procedures for training material.
Integrate technical and operational procedures into extant training programs.
Design, develop, and prepare training Programs of Instruction (POI).
Collaborate with innovative technical experts across the business to expand technical capabilities.
Be curious and adventurous with researching new technologies.
Assist in contract development and bidding.
Assist with technical proposal processes.
Train experienced military professionals.
Will be working with electronic and signal emitting equipment in a lab setting.
Must follow OSHA and Navy safety requirements including wearing personal protective equipment.
Will be working typical business hours (7:30AM-4:30PM) but flexible worksite locations negotiable.
Occasional movement of equipment up to 50 pounds.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Secret Clearance.
30% - 50% travel required.
Bachelors degree with major in IT and/or computer science. Practical InfoSec experience combined with Industry standard certifications related to Information Security, Cybersecurity and/or Penetration Testing can be used in lieu of a Degree.
Experience with DoD or other federal agency government training environments.
8 Years of experience in federal service, military service, or other government employment.
Experience in developing training POI / COI.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with DoD standards for delivering technical training.
Live Environment training instruction and classroom management.
Good public speaking and in person training presence.
Familiarity with SOCOM's preferred unique training style and personalities.
Familiarity with non-standard communication devices and methods.
Military Non-Commissioned Officer or mid-level management experience.
Familiarity with the Technical Proposal writing process.
Familiarity with the contract bidding process
This position is intended to start part-time and with the possibility to transition to full-time.

Salary Range:
$29.42 - $51.49
