Personnel Security Technician, Senior
Our work depends on a Personnel Security Technician, Senior to serve in support of defense analytical and administrative requirements for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC).
HOW A PERSONNEL SECURITY TECHNICIAN, SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Process personnel security clearances, including initial investigations, periodic reinvestigations, and updates.
Conduct security in-processing and out-processing procedures, including indoctrination briefings, debriefings, and access updates.
Monitor Defense Information System for Security (DISS) eligibility updates, DIA Record Message Traffic (RMT), and cross-reference multiple repository databases to include facilitating the transfer of records/info to IC databases for security clearance eligibility and access.
Support the security clearance nomination process and assist with indoctrinations, permanent certifications, and the submission of Research/Recertify/Upgrade (RRU) requests for all aspects of the Command Industrial Security Program.
Coordinate with Office of Personnel Management, DIA, and other relevant agencies.
Ensure compliance with security regulations and guidelines.
Provide training and education to CCMD J2, JIOC staff on security standards.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with favorable poly.
US Citizenship Required
Desired Education and Experience: Master's degree with 12 yrs related experience or Bachelor's degree with a total of 17 yrs experience as a substitute to the Master's degree. At least a portion of your experience must be in the last 2 yrs.
Required: Strong knowledge of security principles, procedures, and technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred: DoD, IC, CCMD, and / or USCENTCOM experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $105,400 - $142,600. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
