The Opportunity:
Serve as an Operations Integrator supporting the United States Security Cooperation Office (SCO) in Quito, Ecuador. Your work supports the execution of traditional engagement activities and accomplishment of US security assistance and security cooperation objectives with a critical partner in the US Southern Command's area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Assists with the planning, coordination, and execution of all Security Cooperation activities in Ecuador as directed by the SCO Operations Officer.
Coordinates with the Air Force, Army, Navy, and SOF elements (SOLO/SOFLE) on security assistance and security cooperation operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) in Ecuador, and all USSOUTHCOM and component command exercises and key leader engagements.
Collaborates with the Operations NCO, Training NCO, Bilateral Affairs Officer, DoD civilians, and Locally Employed Staff (LES) in the execution of their individual roles and responsibilities.
Ensures OAIs support objectives from the USSOUTHCOM Theater Security Cooperation Strategy, the USSOUTHCOM Campaign Plan, and U.S. National Security Strategy.
Assists the SCO Operations Officer with the scheduling, planning, execution, deconfliction, and after-action reviews of security cooperation events and activities.
Takes action in leading day-to-day operations of the SCO. Accomplishes administrative tasks such as managing the SCO calendar, answering Task Management Tracker tasks, ensuring execution of traditional command activities, supporting engagement events, and performing quality checks on travel requests and expensing.
Supports the International Training Officer's responsibility for oversight of the International Training Coordinator LES and Training NCO and execution of IMET program.
Coordinates the planning and programming of International Military Education and Training (IMET), Regional Defense Fellowship Program, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) training.
Supports the required managing US Officer to gather biometrics, DoD vetting and English testing in support of international military students' participating in IMET, E-IMET, FMS, CDT, CTFP, ALP, INL, and TCA training programs. Supports SCO Quito integration into US Embassy activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience working as part of an Operational Staff managing operations, activities, and investments in support of command objectives.
Current TS/SCI security clearance.
The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
Bachelor's degree.
A current Tourist Passport with an expiration date more than 6 months away
Desired:
Spanish language capability
Prior service and experience in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility
A fundamental understanding of Security Cooperation and Security Assistance programs.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,000 - $163,800
