Job Responsibilities:
Performs requirements collection, analysis, and refinement.
Designs and plans multi-layered communications networks and associated cybersecurity solutions.
Provides input to specifications and detailed network architecture artifacts.
Provide guidance on what details of a system are externally discoverable to ensure the proper cyber posture is maintained.
Provides specific, detailed technical recommendations for the most efficient solution to meet operational requirements.
Develops integration strategies for proposed solutions.
Researches, evaluates, and reports on new/emerging network/cybersecurity technologies to enhance performance, security, and reliability of the network.
Provides input to the program Technology Roadmap.
Provides independent verification and validation of vendor-recommended solutions.
Qualifications:
Security Clearance: active TS/SCI
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or other related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with complex communications networks. Candidates without a college degree will be considered but must show substantial experience and knowledge in lieu of a degree.
Operational experience and/or knowledge of Special Operations Forces (SOF).
Knowledge of complex, cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
Understanding of and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture and strategic planning instructions.
Must demonstrate an understanding of the following technologies and protocols and have experience in their use: VLANs, 802.1Q, TCP/IP, Routing (BGP, OSPF), Firewalling, Wireless Networking, DNS, DHCP, Windows Networking, Windows, Linux, Browser Fingerprints.

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
