Title: Pipeline Engineer Location: KSC, FL Clearance: N/A Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship Required Req #: 2633 Salary: $90,000 - $100,000/Yr Project Overview: Craig Technologies currently is a part of the Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2) project at Kennedy Space Center, FL (KSC). The ML2 project involves the design and construction of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launch platform for the Space Launch System (SLS), an advanced launch vehicle that will fill America's need for deep space missions. ML2 includes many different subsystems that must operate and fit within the constraints of the structure and provide a physical interface with KSC launch sites ground systems. Job Description: Essential duties include the locating and designing supports for various piping systems and performing associated calculations. Candidate should be familiar with common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC & ASME B31.3. Work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required. Prior experience should include working in a 3D model environment. Basic Qualifications US Citizenship is required Good knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards Prior experience using structural analysis programs Preferred Qualifications PE Registration Prior experience using pipe support analysis programs GTStrudel Prior experience using Pipe SupportModeler software Previous Craig Technologies project experience Previous DOD/DOE project experience
